Distilled by Carlos Lovell at the now shuttered Mt. Ivy Distillery in Mt. Airy, GA, this bourbon found its way to Ranch due to the untimely passing of a legend in the distilling world. Known for Peach Brandy and Corn Whiskey, Mr. Lovell’s bourbon project was let to sit for years on end following the distilleries sale.
The first sip begins with a crisp cobbler crust that transforms into allspice and vanilla. The warming finish makes the whiskey known and regulates even the finest palate.
HOW IT'S MADE
Bottled at cask strength, enjoy a nose full of rich, smoldering flavors of cinnamon, rye spice, and spiced syrup coupled with the punch of alcohol. All the while, Ranch Regulator holds onto its bones as a full strength whiskey.
Mash Bill – 80% Corn, 10% Malted Corn, 5% Rye, 5% Barley
Barrel – New American White Oak 53 Gallon, Char #3
Nose – Vanilla, Brown Sugar
Palate – Toffee, Oak
